Round Shank Bits
These picks are direct applied for cutting tools, used for longwall shear and road headers.
The working conditions of the picks are various sharply, need the carbide buttons and carbon steel body be tough enough.
This kind of bits are affected by the friction and impact of coal seams or rocks during use.
Generally, their working life is relatively short. But we find ways to keep it works as long as possible by cladding technology applied.
The main failure is the body of the pick wears out too fast, causing the alloy head to fall off.
Other scenario is the body of the picks has poor bending resistance, it will fail as well.
We improve the wear resistance of the picks by using advanced plasma cladding.
Due to the layer we used, the wear speed of head tooth body will be reduced.
In this way, we make the tooth body and the alloy head to wear synchronously.
By using cermet cladding on the head of the bit, it is dramatically reduced the production of sparks during rock cutting.
With a high-hardness cermet layer, 90% sparks reduced during working, which greatly improves the safety of coal mining.
